This coffee comes from Finca Ethiopia in Canton Buenos Aires, Apenaca, a region in El Salvador known as the Land of Volcanoes, where nutrient-rich volcanic soil shapes the character of its coffees. This microlot features the Gesha variety, processed using carbonic maceration followed by a honey process. ripe cherries are hand-picked, de-pulped the same day they are harvested, and then dried on raised beds with their mucilage for 20-25 days. This slow honey-drying enhances sweetness florals and clarity in the cup.
Tasting Notes: Jammy pear, perfumey Jasmine, and fresh citrus zest flavors with sparkling acidity and syrupy sweetness.
